Local information
Barnes, Sheen and Mortlake are located in South West London and nestle between the River Thames and Richmond Park.  All three areas have an abundance of transport links into the centre of London, excellent schools, shops and restaurants.  In addition to this Richmond Park and the award winning
London Wetland Centre (WWT) is a couple of minutes away.

Ham and North Kingston are ideal areas for families, both are located in a bend of the River Thames at Teddington Lock with multiple opportunities for leisure activities including sailing and rowing.

Nearby Ham Common and Richmond Park add to this by offering 2360 acres of parkland to be discovered by cyclists, joggers and ramblers.

Nearby historic Ham House provides beautiful gardens, events including Polo and the occasional ghost!

Education
Barnes is served by good independent schools.  As well as St. Paul's Boys' School and Colet Court, its prep department, the Swedish School serves the Swedish expatriate community and there is co-educational Harrodian School.

Nearby Hammersmith offers St Paul's Girls' School and Godolphin & Latymer School, also for girls.  There are no state secondary schools in SW13, but St Osmund's RC Primary School in Barnes is well regarded.


North Kingston, Ham & Petersham are well served with exceptional schools of which Tiffin Boys & Girls school are renowned nationally for their educational excellence.  The German school in Petersham and the American College in Richmond attract many overseas Tenants.

 

 

 - Cycling in Richmond Park -  - Barnes Station  18 minutes to Waterloo -

There is a half-hourly overland rail service to Clapham Junction and Waterloo from Barnes and Barnes Bridge station.
